The Statesville, N.C.-based team will sport the signage of GO TEXAN and AM Technical Solutions on the No. 22 Chevrolet Silverado for the 11th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race of the season.

It’s Her Turn First: Before Austin Wayne Self tackles Texas Motor Speedway this weekend, his wife Jennifer Self will compete in the return of the Better Half Dash, this year as a virtual event in collaboration with iRacing.
The Better Half iRacing Dash features the women of NASCAR, highlighting their contributions to the sport and allowing them to raise money for charity.
Participants will compete in a virtual Legends Car race at the virtual Texas Motor Speedway on the iRacing platform. FOX Sports provides exclusive coverage of The Better Half iRacing Dash, which will air during a special edition of NASCAR Race Hub Thursday, June 10 at 6 p.m. ET on FS1.
Jennifer Self will drive the No. 22 AIRBOX Air Purifier car in the event with her husband serving as crew chief.
Self was the 2017 winner of the seventh-annual Better Half Dash in a 25-lap Bandolero event on October 6 at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway.

After qualifying was rained out, Self started 13th in his No. 22 GO TEXAN | AM Technical Solutions Chevrolet Silverado, but spun at the end of Stage 2. Self magnificently recovered to finish a respectable 17th.

Calling the Shots: Ryan Salomon will continue to lead Austin Wayne Self and the AM Racing team this weekend at Texas.
This weekend marks his 14th race as crew chief for Self and in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. During his tenure, he guided Self to an average finish of 15.3 during the 2020 and 2021 seasons, respectively.
Career Rundown: Since 2016, Self has competed in 117 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races, delivering two top-five and 10 top-10 finishes. He finished a career-best 12th in the championship standings in 2018.

“I’ve always enjoyed racing at Texas too and last October – we enjoyed one of our best races there and it has been excited about getting another shot at a top-10 finish or better on Saturday afternoon.”
On Charlotte Motor Speedway: “We were hoping to be closer to the top-10, but all things considered, we’ll take another solid top-20 finish. We’re staying close to that cutoff spot in the Playoffs – but we just have to do what we can to keep that spot in reach or hopefully get above the cutline.
“Ryan and the AM Racing team did a good job improving the truck throughout the day. We weren’t good in practice, but the team’s hustle throughout the rest of the day paid off. We’ll go to Texas and look for our third top-10 of the year.”
