Airflotek to support Austin Wayne Self; AM Racing at Kentucky Speedway

SPARTA, KY – Officials from AM Racing announced today that Airflotek, a distributor of air filtration systems will support driver Austin Wayne Self in Thursday night’s Buckle Up Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway.

Founded in 1982, Airflotek is a distributor of air filtration systems including fan and filter modules, HEPA / ULPA filters, terminal ducted modules, cleanroom ceilings and cleanroom lighting, softwall cleanrooms, air showers, pass-throughs, HEPA filtered vacuums, shoe cleaners, cleanroom furniture, laminar flow equipment and cleanroom constructions.

Applications for the Suwanee, Ga. based company include pharmaceuticals, bearing, food service, storage, electronics, medical, satellite, testing labs, wet processing, aerospace, assembly and dry processing.

Thursday night’s race will mark their debut as a primary partner in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

“I’m incredibly thankful and honored to represent Airflotek this weekend at Kentucky Speedway,” said Self. “This is their first foray into the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and I strongly believe with the strength and speed that our AM Racing has shown over the last couple of months, we can go out there on Thursday night and give them a good showing.”

“Their logo looks pretty darn cool on the hood of our No. 22 Toyota Tundra.”

The Austin, Tex. native will make his second NCWTS start at the 1.5-mile oval and fourth overall in Motorsports competition. In addition to Trucks, the Texan has two ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards starts in 2014 and 2015 respectively with 12th and 11th place finish accordingly  .

In addition to Airflotek, the Mooresville, N.C.-based team will have associate partnership support from Snap Track, a product of Techline Manufacturing for Thursday night’s 150-lap hustle.

Techline’s Snap Track is your complete source for a limited width cable tray system and just one more way Techline Manufacturing is striving to provide the best products available in today’s market. Techline Manufacturing also fabricates custom products such as air manifolds, condensate pots, and instrument racks.

Snap Track is the first cable tray system to use patented push pin technology that snaps into place eliminating the need for as many nuts and bolts during installation and reducing labor costs for their customers.

Snap Track was designed to transition cables from ladder tray to point of use, while reducing installed costs. Snap Track’s philosophy is simple – Reduce field labor, while supporting and “Protecting the Cable.”

“Snap Track has been a great addition to AM Racing this season,” added Self. “Their investment into our program as well as our devotion to their product off the track seems to be paying off. I’m awfully proud that our AM Racing team has been able to bring new partners to the table this season and let them experience the power and bliss of NASCAR racing.”

As for Kentucky, Self says he is confident in the truck his AM Racing team led by crew chief Bill Henderson is bringing to the track and he hopes to deliver his fourth top-15 finish of the year aboard an AM Racing prepared truck.

“We started off the year with a second at Daytona and have been able to carry the speed in our AM Racing trucks at Charlotte and Texas,” Self added. “We like the direction we are going in and we feel very confident we can keep our consistency rocking Thursday night at Kentucky Speedway.”

Further information on Self’s NCWTS schedule at AM Racing is forthcoming.
